NF
Nathan John Feuerstein was born March 30, 1991. His initials NF (stylized IF) are an American rapper, singer , and songwriter. The artist has released two EPs, I'm Free (2012),[3] and an EP self-titled in 2014, with Capitol CMG. Mansion was his first major-label release. The album that he followed with Therapy Session was released on April 22nd in 2016. It peaked at the number 12 on the US Billboard 200. His albums have earned several accolades, some of which include the Gospel Music Association Dove Award for Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year (Therapy Session).NF achieved mainstream popularity in 2017 with Perception; the album peaked at the top of the charts in the United States and was certified platinum. The album's third single, "Let You Down", reached number twelve on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and a top ten hit in the world. The follow-up album, The Search (2019), was a commercial success. Feuerstein stated that rap was a method to get away from his early years. He would record songs using an karaoke machine, recording his raps as well as instrumentals with a single microphone. On November 29 2010 Feuerstein independently released his debut studio album Moments under his real name. On August 2, 2011, he released his first single "Alone". The track featured producers and songwriters Tommee Profitt and Brooke Griffith. Xist Music discovered Feuerstein's work in 2012 and was interested in his music. The 2nd of May, 2012, Feuerstein released his debut extended play I'm Free with production work from Profitt. The tracklist featured nine songs that included "Alone". The EP also included an original version of Alone with Sean Simmonds. Xist had teased the release of the self-titled, extended plays, NF, but Feuerstein split with the label following an argument, and the release of NF was delayed. NF was accompanied by a song, "Only One", featuring Shuree Williams on the label’s compilation album, Move Vol 1 The single was released, "Beautiful Addiction", on the 4th of November, 2013. The track featured a second appearance by Profitt along with the vocals of Brady Schmitz and Danielle Swift.
